Timeworn ...A Midsummer Night's Dream

This is my interpretation of the scene in the woods when Titania, the Queen of the Fairies, falls in love with Bottom, after Puck had sprinkled magical flower juice onto her eyes whilst she was sleeping. Puck had mockingly transformed Bottom into an ass. Titania then passes a ludicrous interlude doting on Bottom.

A rusty Timeworn piece.
Naughty Puck.

The light I have used is from a new range of goodies produced by Tim Holtz.

Dry brushed flowers.
Aged copper patina frog.
A rusty spider.

Steampunk aged brass crown.
The hidden battery for the lantern that lights the scene.
On this side of the project incorporates the bottle with the flower potion and a very time worn woodland scene.
A rusty bird.
Peeled paint and dry brushed pillars.
A skeleton using the painted ivory technique.
A burnt oxidised  copper rose.
Steampunk aged brass butterfly.
Aged copper patina bottle.
A selection of techniques, one showing rust runs done with pastels.

Another battery powered candle lights this scene.
A lot of photos!
The on-line workshop was amazing, I have placed a link to Andy's class in my sidebar.
Thanks for looking.

Wow that's stunning my 12 year old has recently done a lego scene on Macbeth that we recently went to see and popped it on his blog - (linked with mine), so I was intrigued to see the Shakespeare reference. I've done the steampunk course of Andy's and loved it - really must check out his other classes!
