Postcards by my own fair hand!

Back in March Colin and I went to Tobago, unfortunately Colin was unwell which meant that out planned trips could not go ahead. However, we did relax on the wonderful beach and Colin even set up a bird feeding station on our balcony. I had also packed my mobile Art journalling kit, I had some water colour postcards to paint on, travel brochures and magazines that I could cut up alongside some glue.

Bongo came too!

Some of the postcards are very similar as I did some to give to my friends when I returned. Much quicker than posting them

'Here Come the Girls'.... Bunting swap UKS

Over on UK Scrappers I have joined a Bunting swap.
Here are my efforts. This group are the second group I made as the Post Office seem to have lost my first efforts!!! As I was having an eye operation I did not have the time or inspiration to come up with a new design. Therefore I made a second group in a different colour and with some slight tweeking. I hope everyone like them and that they reach their destination this time!

This set of Bunting is still in the postal system, they were posted nearly 2 weeks ago!

Maybe they will turn up one day..........

Advent Calendar

This year I was totally inspired by the 'Junk drawer Advent Calendar' over on 2gypsy girls blog.
I can thank Irene for the link and some of her junk drawer stash too!
This Calendar has given me the opportunity to use lots of broken jewellery bits that I have had tucked away for years.
I have had a lot of fun doing this project and even though I originally planned to add a tag a day to the board over the next 25 days I have decided to put them all on in one go and enjoy them for the whole of Advent!
